Window Grill Cleaning in Gurgaon

The window grill is the most neglected surface in a Gurgaon flat. It sits outside, so it collects road dust, pollen, dead insects and bird droppings, and the mesh behind it becomes a filter that blocks the airflow. Dust also works into the joints and sliding channels, where it grinds the frame every time the window moves. On floors facing Golf Course Road or the open plots around Sohna Road, the deposit is heavy enough that the grill reads grey, not black.

Grill cleaning needs more than a wet cloth, so we bring a mesh brush and a wet-vacuum setup that pulls dust out of the grid instead of pushing it around. The grill is dry brushed first, then the mesh is washed with detergent while the vacuum holds the dirty water at the frame bottom, and the frame and channels wiped. Droppings are treated one by one with a spotting solution so they do not etch the powder coating, and light rust on the joints is treated too. The sill is cleaned and dried before the window closes.

Window grill cleaning is ₹399 per window, covering the grill, the mesh and the sill. The rate is per window, not per square foot, because a wide bedroom grill and a narrow kitchen window take the same time. What changes it is access: a window reachable from inside the room is quicker than one needing a balcony ladder or service balcony, and a grill on the fourth floor or above with no service balcony is quoted after a site visit.

We clean window grills across DLF Phase 1–5, Sushant Lok, Palam Vihar, Golf Course Road, Sohna Road and the Sector 45–57 societies, and in offices along Cyber City and Udyog Vihar where frontage grills take traffic dust. Most people add it to a quarterly deep clean so grills, windows and balconies are done together. Grills in high-rise flats are best cleaned before the monsoon, when the mesh is dry and the dust has not turned to grit.
